JAMSHEDPUR – A delegation from Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce, headed by President Vijay Anand Moonka, met with Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal to present solutions for city issues and seek resolutions.

The delegation presented several demands and suggestions to address various problems in the city.

Key Issues Raised

The delegation highlighted the need to restart registrations in the Tata Command Area, establish an airport in Dhalbhumgarh, and remove encroachments from Bata Chowk in Sakchi market.

Deputy Commissioner Mittal assured the delegation of prompt action and coordination with senior and junior officials to resolve these issues.

"We will work with the relevant departments to ensure these issues are addressed," the delegation was assured.

Specific Demands

The delegation also requested quick processing of arms licenses for businessmen, the initiation of an AC bus service between Tata and Ranchi for airport access, and mandatory verification of NEFT and RTGS beneficiaries by banks.

Mittal promised to discuss these issues with the banks and ensure necessary measures are taken.

"The verification process is crucial for security, and we will address it in our meeting with the banks," Mittal added.

Additional Concerns

The delegation also raised concerns about elephant menace in Chakulia, land encroachments in rural areas, and the need for a permanent fire brigade in Jugsalai.

Mittal assured them that the DFO is handling the elephant issue and actions will be taken to curb land encroachments.

The delegation also discussed the need for parking arrangements in front of Jugsalai Overbridge, removing speed breakers in front of Tata Steel Power House Gate No. 3, and installing high mast lights at Bata Chowk in Sakchi.

"The traffic situation near Mango Bridge and other busy areas will be resolved," Mittal assured.

Ongoing Projects and Future Plans

Mittal also discussed plans to solve the sand shortage issue in Kolhan, implement an odd-even system for parking, and install convex mirrors on roads to prevent accidents.

"We are working on these suggestions and will ensure proper implementation," Mittal stated.

The delegation emphasized the need for legal actions against unauthorized vendors and hawkers who encroach on the city, affecting businesses that pay taxes and provide employment.

"We will address the issue of unauthorized encroachments to ensure a fair environment for all," Mittal assured.

The delegation included Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, Vice President Anil Modi, Advocate Rajeev Agarwal, Puneet Kawnatiya, Abhishek Agarwal Goldie, and Secretary Bharat Makani.
