Finance Company Employees Hand Over Armed Youths to Police in Jamshedpur
Four youths were apprehended with firearms while attempting to recover a repossessed motorcycle at a finance company in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – Four youths were caught with pistols at the Sigma Associate Finance Company near Vijay Heritage under Kadma police station.
The youths, identified as Vicky, Priyanshu, Saurabh, and Mohammad Siraj, are residents of Bolaidih in Gamharia.
The incident occurred when they tried to retrieve a TVS motorcycle belonging to Priyanshu, which had been repossessed due to loan arrears.
Priyanshu and Vicky, who are brothers, arrived with five or six friends and demanded the return of the motorcycle.
During the confrontation, they allegedly misbehaved with Rajesh Kumar Singh, also known as Pintu Singh, the proprietor of Sigma Associates.
Suspicious of their behavior, the finance company employees searched the youths and found a pistol in a scooter.
Two of the youths managed to flee the scene, but the remaining four were captured and handed over to the police.
The police have started investigating the matter.
The incident has raised concerns about security in Jamshedpur, especially following recent criminal activities in the area.
The police are questioning how the youths managed to transport weapons from Gamharia to Jamshedpur despite security measures.
This case adds to the challenges faced by the police after a recent murder and a jewelry shop robbery in the Kadma and Sonari areas, respectively.
Efforts are ongoing to locate the two individuals who escaped and to understand the full extent of the situation.
