Three Masked Assailants On Bike Target Worker Carrying Rs 1.30 Lakh

Police launch investigation following victim’s complaint at Azadnagar police station.

JAMSHEDPUR – Rohit Sharma, an employee of a finance company, narrowly escaped a robbery attempt on Tuesday afternoon near Zakir Nagar Road No. 10 on Old Purulia Road in Mango.

The incident occurred around 2 PM when Sharma was carrying Rs 1.30 lakh for loan distribution to a women’s group.

"Three masked individuals on a motorcycle brandished weapons and attempted to rob me," Sharma stated in his complaint to Azadnagar police.

Sharma, originally from Ghatsila, works for a finance company located on Dimna Road.

The quick-thinking employee managed to evade the assailants by accelerating his bike.

"The miscreants chased me for a considerable distance before disappearing," Sharma reported to the authorities.

Azadnagar police have initiated an investigation based on Sharma’s written complaint.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of finance company employees carrying cash in the area.

Local authorities are reviewing security measures for workers involved in cash transactions.

Residents of Mango have expressed worry over the brazen nature of the attempted robbery in broad daylight.
