BJP’s Jharkhand state spokesperson Kunal Sarangi has resigned from his position amidst Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jamshedpur. Sarangi, a former MLA of Baharagora, has been a dynamic politician but felt isolated for some time. He has quit as the spokesperson, but will remain in the party.
JAMSHEDPUR – BJP’s Jharkhand state spokesperson Kunal Sarangi resigned from his post on Sunday amidst Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jamshedpur.
Sarangi, a former MLA of Baharagora, submitted his resignation to State President Babulal Marandi.
In his resignation letter, Sarangi stated that he has been feeling isolated due to a well-planned conspiracy by the local organization.
He mentioned that efforts to humiliate him have been ongoing for the past four months.
Sarangi informed Marandi both in person and over the phone about being deliberately excluded from party programs, along with his supporters in East Singhbhum district.

Despite informing the state organization general secretary and the current in-charge of the state, no action was taken.
Feeling hurt by this treatment, Sarangi decided to resign from his spokesperson position.
However, he clarified that he will remain in the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Even during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, Sarangi was kept away from the entire gathering, highlighting his sense of exclusion.
This resignation comes at a crucial time for the party, reflecting internal challenges.
Sarangi’s departure from the spokesperson role marks a significant development in Jharkhand’s political landscape.
The BJP’s state leadership has yet to respond to Sarangi’s allegations and resignation.
