Jamshedpur Management Association Celebrates 4th Annual Meet with Eminent Guests

Awards Presented to Outstanding Academic Institutions and Corporates for 2023-24

The Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) recently held its 4th Annual Meet, bringing together distinguished guests, senior executives, and members from various organizations to celebrate achievements and foster networking among business leaders, academics, and industry professionals in the region.

JAMSHEDPUR – Last week, the Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) successfully conducted its 4th Annual Meet, marking a significant milestone for the prominent professional organization.

The event witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary, VP CS of Tata Steel, and the President of JMA.

Senior executives from renowned organizations such as Tata Motors, JCAPCPL, and TSUIL also graced the occasion, along with JMA Board members Mr. Sanjay Sabharwal, Mr. Amitabh Bhattacharjee (Honorary Secretary), Mr. Ravi Radhakrishnan, Mr. Vishal Agarwalla, Prof. Sunil Sarangi, and Mr. Amitava Bakshi.

The event featured a virtual talk by Mr. Binod Homagai, Co-founder of Wow! Momo, who shared valuable insights on seeding and scaling a successful start-up.

One of the highlights of the Annual Meet was the presentation of five awards for the fiscal year 2023-24, recognizing outstanding contributions in both academic and corporate spheres.

Prof. Girdhar Ramachandran of XLRI Jamshedpur was honored with the prestigious Galactic Gratitude Award for his exceptional contributions to the field of management education.

Jamshedpur Women’s University received the "Most Participative Academic Institution" award, while ARKA JAIN University secured the "Most Winning Academic Institution" award, acknowledging their active involvement and success in JMA’s initiatives.

In the corporate category, Tata Steel was recognized as the "Most Participative Corporate," and Tata Motors clinched the "Most Winning Corporate" award for the third year in a row, showcasing their consistent engagement and excellence.

The 4th Annual Meet concluded on a high note with an entertaining program featuring talented members of JMA from various corporate organizations, fostering a sense of camaraderie and celebration among the attendees.
