Party Plans Rallies by Top Leaders to Highlight Modi Government’s Achievements
Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successful two-day visit to Jharkhand, the BJP is gearing up to organize election rallies featuring prominent party leaders, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath set to campaign in the state.
RANCHI – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand is preparing to capitalize on the success of Prime Minister Modi’s recent visit to the state by arranging election meetings with other high-profile leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
According to sources, Yogi Adityanath’s election rallies are being planned for the Palamu and Khunti Lok Sabha constituencies.
Other senior BJP leaders, such as Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, are also expected to campaign in Jharkhand in the coming weeks.
BJP state spokesperson Animesh Kumar Singh described the PM’s election visit as historic, asserting that the upcoming rallies will allow party leaders to directly engage with the public and highlight the Modi government’s achievements.
As the election campaign intensifies, the BJP is focusing on the first phase of polls in Jharkhand, which includes the Khunti, Singhbhum, Lohardaga, and Palamu constituencies.
In the 2019 elections, the BJP won three out of these four seats, with Congress’ Geeta Koda securing the Singhbhum seat. However, Koda is now contesting on a BJP ticket.
Three of the four seats in the first phase are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST), while one is reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC).
The BJP is optimistic that the Modi government’s efforts for the tribal community will yield positive results, helping the party secure all four seats in the first phase.
The party believes that the combination of Prime Minister Modi’s successful visit and the upcoming rallies by top leaders will significantly impact the election season in Jharkhand.
