NIT Jamshedpur Hosts Ramalingam Memorial Cup Volleyball Tournament

The second edition of the annual event saw enthusiastic participation from boys and girls teams, honoring the legacy of M Ramalingam, a former volleyball captain.

The National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur Alumni Association (NITJAA) successfully organized the RAMALINGAM MEMORIAL CUP-2024 volleyball tournament for both boys and girls teams at NIT Jamshedpur from April 2nd to April 3rd, 2024, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participants.

JAMSHEDPUR – The National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur Alumni Association (NITJAA) successfully hosted the RAMALINGAM MEMORIAL CUP-2024 volleyball tournament for both boys and girls at NIT Jamshedpur from April 2nd to April 3rd, 2024.

The event was organized in memory of M Ramalingam, a distinguished member of the 1991 batch and former captain of the RIT Volleyball Team, who holds a special place in the hearts of many.

The tournament was initiated by Ramalingam’s friends to honor his memory and the impact he left on the community, providing a platform for them to share cherished memories of their time together at RIT.

This year’s edition marked the second year of the annual tournament, which aims to carry forward the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship that Ramalingam exemplified during his time at the institute.
