Public Help Sought to Locate Companies Owing Provident Fund Dues
In a significant move, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has issued notices to approximately 20 companies in Kolhan for failing to pay provident fund dues, seeking public assistance to locate them.
JAMSHEDPUR – Efforts are underway to recover the outstanding dues from these companies, and the EPFO has urged the public to cooperate by providing any information that may assist in locating them.
Narayan Enterprises in Baridih Bagunnagar owes Rs 3.16 lakh, while Progressive Auto in Adityapur Phase 1 has a debt of Rs 11.47 lakh.
The EPFO’s list also highlights companies like Jamshedpur Well Pack in Gamharia Phase 5 with dues of Rs 3.88 lakh, and Bihar Cement in Adityapur Phase 2 with an outstanding amount of Rs 10.35 lakh.
Other companies identified include Birsanagar Zone No. 6, SKG Limited, which owes Rs 87.66 lakh.
Sandeep Industries in Adityapur Tata Kandra Road has been reported to owe Rs 5.17 lakh.
Owing Rs 5.50 lakh, Adarsh India in Adityapur New Housing Colony is among the defaulters.
Riddhi Siddhi Service in Sakchi and Sonari Holding No. 111 Lakshmi owe Rs 6.19 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh respectively.
Companies such as Steel City Construction Corporation in Sakchi Thakurbari, Kwality Auto in Adityapur Phase 2, and Bihar Rafia in Gamharia Adityapur Phase 5 have dues ranging from Rs 7.15 lakh to Rs 7.83 lakh.
Vishwakarma Enterprises in Telco Manifit owes Rs 10.14 lakh, while Maa Durga in Chhota Govindpur and Shashi Enterprises in Golmuri Namda Basti owe Rs 3.99 lakh and Rs 3.07 lakh respectively.
Kalmek Enterprises Limited in Adityapur Saket Bihar Colony has been reported to owe Rs 18.23 lakh.
Among the notable defaulters are Jamuna Enterprises at Bistupur P Road with Rs 24.09 lakh, BK Engineering of Madodih in Chhota Govindpur with Rs 27.23 lakh, and Bongo Sadashiv Gop of Potka with Rs 7.34 lakh outstanding.
Topping the list, Fusion Engineering Products based in Gamharia 6 Phase owes a significant amount of Rs 2.09 crore.
The EPFO has taken stringent action against defaulting companies in Kolhan, issuing notices to around 20 companies for non-payment of dues.
