The results will be made public on June 4.

This announcement heralds a critical period for India’s political landscape.

Additionally, four states will host simultaneous Assembly elections.

This extensive electoral exercise aims to secure seats in the Lok Sabha and various state legislatures.

Election Commission’s Key Announcements

The ECI’s announcement comes amid recent administrative changes.

Two new Election Commissioners, Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, have been appointed.

Their appointments follow Arun Goel’s unexpected resignation and Anup Chandra Pandey’s retirement.
