RANCHI – Tata Steel MD and CEO TV Narendran and VP (CS) Chanakya Chaudhary called on the Chief Minister Champai Soren on Wednesday.
This encounter is described as purely a courtesy visit by the company.
It encompassed discussions on the city of Jamshedpur and the company’s operations.
Informal conversations also touched on the expansion of Tata Steel and its associate firms.
The meeting signals ongoing dialogues on corporate expansion and state development.
Chanakya Chaudhary had previously met with the Chief Minister.
The presence of Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, underscored the significance.
Tata Steel’s Managing Director and CEO, TV Narendran, held discussions on different issues with Chief Minister Champai Soren.
The government announced the meeting as a gesture of goodwill.
Sources said it marks the first interaction between Tata Steel’s MD and Champai Soren since the new government’s formation.
