Both assailants, allegedly associated with a local ganglord, are now absconding.
Following the incident’s virality, police have questioned G Prasad but failed to arrest the culprits.
The attack occurred after the closure of Prasad’s shop in Manifit, leaving Jha severely injured.
This incident, reportedly a week old, has instilled fear in Jha and his family.
Despite the attack, the incident was not immediately reported to the police.
The linkage of the attackers to a city gangster has been highlighted by local media.
The community is in shock over the violence perpetrated against Jha, underscoring the need for urgent law enforcement action.
