JMM Ramps Up Membership Drive at Chief Minister’s Residence in Ranchi

Over 3000 Join JMM in a Push Against Central Government’s "Dictatorship"

A significant membership drive by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Kanke, Ranchi, witnessing the enrolment of over three thousand individuals from diverse backgrounds.

RANCHI – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) organized a meeting cum membership program at the Chief Minister’s residence complex in Ranchi, with Chief Minister and JMM Central Vice President Champai Soren in attendance.

The event saw participation from more than three thousand youth and women, with notable figures like Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji and JMM Central General Secretary Vinod Pandey joining.

Champai Soren welcomed new members, emphasizing Jharkhand’s formation through activism and alleging a conspiracy by BJP against Hemant Soren.

Allegations and Aspirations

The Chief Minister accused the BJP of targeting Hemant Soren with a false case, hindering his efforts in serving tribal and indigenous communities.

The gathering was described as the start of a broader movement, aiming to counter the central government’s actions.

Awareness Against Central Government

Vinod Kumar Pandey highlighted plans to educate the public about the central government’s authoritarian practices.

Mustaq Alam voiced the collective frustration towards the BJP’s treatment of Hemant Soren, linking it to the surge in JMM’s membership.

Upcoming Sankalp Sabha

A resolution meeting is scheduled for February 27 at the assembly grounds in Ranchi, intended to challenge the BJP’s political stance in the state.

This meeting will feature prominent JMM figures, including Champai Soren, and aims to solidify opposition against the BJP, with preparatory sessions already underway.
