Jamshedpur Walkathon Promotes Health Among Seniors
Tata Steel’s Senior Citizens Fun and Fitness Walkathon at JRD Tata Sports Complex promotes health and community spirit among seniors aged 55 and above.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel warmly invites the senior citizens of Jamshedpur to participate in the upcoming Senior Citizens Fun and Fitness Walkathon.
The event, scheduled for January 25, 2024, at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, emphasizes the importance of physical activity for a healthier lifestyle among seniors.
With a starting time of 9:00 AM, the walkathon is accessible to all individuals aged 55 years and above.
This initiative reflects Tata Steel’s commitment to fostering community bonds and enhancing the well-being of its senior population.
Two different distance categories are established, accommodating both male and female participants across two age groups.
For men aged 55-65 and 65-75, the event includes a 2.4 km walk.
Women in the same age brackets will participate in a 2.0 km walk, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all.
Interested participants can register for the event until January 24, 2024.
