District Magistrate Leads Meeting on Witchcraft Eradication

Workshop on De-addiction and Witchcraft Eradication Planned at Sidhgora Town Hall on Sunday

Meeting held by District Magistrate Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri to prepare for witchcraft eradication and de-addiction workshop at Sidhgora Town Hall.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri held a meeting on 20th August at Sidhgora Town Hall regarding oncoming witchcraft eradication and de-addiction workshop on August 20.

Mukhiyas, Gram Pradhans, and Majhi Parganas were a part of the meeting.

The District Administration has organized a workshop on 20th August at Sidhgora Town Hall regarding the eradication of witchcraft and de-addiction campaign.

Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri held a meeting regarding the successful organization of the workshop and gave necessary guidelines to the officers.

Mukhiyas, Gram Pradhans, and Majhi Parganas will attend the workshop as participants.

It is an initiative by the district administration to make common villagers aware of the prevention of orthodox and superstitious practices.

The District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner gave necessary guidelines to the officers regarding the outline of the program.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that all the bad social practices which cannot be legally, socially, and ethically correct should be discouraged compulsorily.

He noted that in this age of technology, where feelings are sometimes aroused due to wrong communication of information, social evils can be prevented by the correct communication of information.

He emphasized that if there is no lack of communication at any level, many such bad practices can definitely be prevented by creating public awareness.
