Water Pipe Burst Causes Huge Water Wastage in Mango Jamshedpur; Locals Threaten to Fund Repairs

Water supply crisis escalates with repeated pipe bursts in Mango Jawahar Nagar Road area causing huge wastage of potable water.

JAMSHEDPUR – The drinking water supply scheme has become a serious concern for Jamshedpur’s Mango Jawahar Nagar Road number 15 residents, where a supply pipe has been bursting intermittently for over three years near a gas godown.

Hundreds of liters of water have been lost due to the burst pipe as the water ran onto the road.

The nearby water filtration facility has been the target of vocal complaints from locals on several occasions, but no action has been taken.

The road has sustained damage from the continuous water flow.

High-altitude areas with improper water supply practices have led to water issues for the locals in the region.

The locals say that the neighborhood’s MLA has been noticeably absent, not visiting the area in four years.

BJP leader Vikas Singh voiced the growing frustration, stating that people would raise money to pay for the repairs themselves if they are not completed within a week.

The discussion included several local residents, such as Vikas Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Jagan Yadav, Mahesh Prasad, Ashwani Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Monu Bhagat, Rakesh Singh, Mahendra Sahu, and Dharmendra Pandey, all demanding immediate action.
