RJD leader advocates for police station at Gamharia’s crime-prone area, seeks improved security.
JAMSHEDPUR – Expressing the escalating concern of local shop owners due to the rising crime in Gamharia, Arjun Yadav, the State General Secretary of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), strongly advocated for immediate action to quell the situation.
Recent daylight robberies, particularly a recent jewelry shop heist, indicate a significant increase in crime rates, according to Yadav.
Yadav emphasized the need to provide the general public and shop owners with relief from the increasing insecurity and challenges they face daily.
The proposed solution is to establish a permanent police station at Lal Building Chowk, a spot between Adityapur and Gamharia known for frequent occurrences of theft and burglary.
A police officer and contingent stationed here would bring much-needed relief to this crime-infested region, he opined.
Finally, Yadav officially submitted this request to the Kolhan Region Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and the district superintendent of police, seeking a permanent police station at Lal Building Chowk in Gamharia to combat the escalating crime rates.
