Jamshedpur – On Monday, the court concluded the hearing on the bail plea of BJP leader Abhay Singh, one of the 18 accused in a case concerning disturbances to communal harmony in Kadma Shastri Nagar, Jamshedpur.

Several police personnel, including Sub-Divisional Officer Piyush Kumar Sinha, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamal Kishore, and Executive Magistrate Jai Prakash Kurmali, were seriously injured.

Based on the statement of JNAC’s city manager Anay Raj, an FIR was filed against thousands of unidentified individuals, including 118 named individuals.

The police have registered a case under the Firing and Bomb Blast Act for obstructing government work, in addition to charges related to assault and hurting religious sentiments.
