6.4 earthquake in California, 2 dead

Two people died in a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.4 on the northern coast of the state of California, USA. At least 11 people were injured.

The earthquake was felt at 2:30 a.m. local time on the Pacific coast of the United States.

The earthquake originated off the coast of Humboldt County, 350 kilometers north of San Francisco. After that, about 80 shocks were felt, according to the news agency Reuters.

Many houses, roads and water supply systems were damaged in the incident on Tuesday morning. Thousands of people have been left without electricity.
