Ensuring development of Dalits, Tribals and Backwards is our priority: CM Hemant Soren

The Chief Minister participated in the 2-day conference of Manjhi Pargana Mahal. He also handed over the appointment letter to Martyr Ganesh Hansda’s mother.

Jamshedpur: The Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached Ghatshila on Sunday, where he attended a two-day conference of Manjhi Pargana Mahal.

The conference was attended by the members of Santhal community from all over the country as well as from Bangladesh and Nepal.

Addressing the conference in Santhali language, the Chief Minister said that the Santhali community has the largest population among the tribals in India.

He said that many welfare schemes are being run in the state for the Dalits, Adivasis and other backward castes. You just need to understand them.

He also added that the State Government has made the provision of bank loans very easy for the tribals, so that the tribal community can go ahead and pave the way for their development.

The CM said that the state government is running a scholarship scheme for Dalit students of every section of Jharkhand to study abroad. Earlier it used to take many years to get the result of JPC, now the present government has taken steps to ensure that JPC result are declared within a few months.

Earlier, the Chief Minister handed over the appointment letter to the mother of Ganesh Hansda, the martyr of Galwan.

State ministers Banna Gupta and Champai Soren, who were present on the occasion, also addressed the gathering.

The MLAs of Bahragora, Potka, Ghatshila and Jugsalai were also present in the program.

On the other hand, the representatives of the Santhal community gathered from every corner of the country were welcomed in a traditional way by both the ministers and MLAs as well as the Chief Minister.
