Locals demand immediate arrest of Mother Teresa Welfare Trust director

Jamshedpur: The city police are under pressure from the people to arrest the director of Mother Teresa Welfare Trust and his wife who is also the president of Child Welface Committee. The due has been absconding since after allegations were made against them by two minor girl inmates of the Trust who had earlier gone missing and were later found by the police.

Local people, including BJP and AJSU members, are demanding that the duo be arrested without further delay and investigations be made into their wrong doings.

The member of AJSU Central Working Committee Chandragupta Singh demanded a high-level inquiry into the Mother Teresa Welfare Trust case and asked for immediate arrest of absconding director.

He said that the unethical and immoral conduct of the Trust managers in Mother Teresa Welfare Trust is highly condemnable.

He said that the government and the district administration need to take such matters very seriously.

On the other hand, he also criticised the recent arrest of Subhash Pal. He called Subhash Pal innocent and said that the person who should be in jail is roaming freely, and the one who is innocent has been sent behind the bars.

A local leader Manoj Gupta also condemned the Mother Teresa Welfare Trust episode in strong words and raised the demand for the arrest of the managers of the trust.

He also warned that if both the perpetrators are not arrested, then the public will be forced to take to the streets.

On the other hand, all the children of Mother Teresa Welfare Trust have been sent to Patmada Children’s Home.

However, two children are still missing and search is on to trace them.

Recently, two minor girl students of Mother Teresa Welfare Trust had made allegations of improper conduct against the director of the trust.
