AJSU Pays Homage to Martyrs Goma Singh and Bhajohari Mahato

AJSU party pays tribute to martyrs Goma Singh and Bhajohari Mahato, vows to uphold their legacy and continue their fight for state rights.

JAMSHEDPUR – The AJSU party paid homage to the martyrs Shaheed Goma Singh and Shaheed Bhajohari Mahato at Chandni Chowk Gurma NH-33 Shaheed Bedi today, Thursday, 20 July 2023.

The tribute included a floral offering and the organization of a football tournament, inaugurated by the party’s Central General Secretary and former Minister, Ramchandra Sahis.

He was joined by District President Kanhaiya Singh, Banbihari Mahato, and Professor Ravi Shankar Maurya.

During the event, Ramchandra Sahis reiterated the AJSU party’s commitment to uphold the legacy of the martyrs and their significant contributions to the state’s movement.

He criticized the state government for failing to adequately recognize and honor the efforts of these fighters and called for their stories to be included in educational syllabi.

District President Kanhaiya Singh highlighted the efforts of AJSU supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto in establishing the martyr’s memorial in 2003 and pledged to continue the fight for the rights and honor of the martyrs.
