The team of Snake Saver has also appealed to the people to keep snakes safe and not kill them unnecessarily in the greater interest of environment and ecological balance.

The team stressed that the safety of humans is important, but people should also avoid killign snakes unnecessarily, especially if they are not of poisonous species.

A member of the Snake Saver team said that snakes are largely eco-friendly. However, most of the species of snakes are getting extinct. Under the circumstances, there is a need to take steps to protect them from extinction.

He said that Snake Saver teams are active in different areas of Jamshedpur.

He said that several snakes were caught by the team from residential areas and were kept safely. Today, the snakes were released into the forest.

Chhotu Srivastava, a member of the Snake Saver team, said that dozens of poisonous snakes were released on Saturday into Dalma forest.

He appealed to the people to get medical treatment in the nearest hospital if bitten by a snake accidently, instead of trying to get voodoo treatment.
