JNAC takes action against Covid protocol violators

Jamshedpur: The district administration is sparing no effort to ensure that Covid threats for the city are alleviated to the extent possible. On Monday, JNAC officials carried out a strict vigil in the Sakchi market and took action against those who were found violating Covid protocol.

A team inspected Sakchi market and tried to spread awareness.

During this, seeing a huge crowd in the market, the special officer said that the public has once again started committing the same mistakes that were responsible for a second wave of the pandemic.

The JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar said that the violation of Covid protocol was the reason why Jamshedpur was most impacted by the pandemic. People are once again making the same mistake by not observing the protocol.

He said that people are seen openly violating the covid protocol in markets and public places.

He said that Jamshedpur district administration and JNAC are alerting the people.

The Special officer Krishna Kumar said that strict vigil has been started in the markets and crowded areas of the city.

Along with this, fines are also being imposed on businesses and common citizens who are found violating the protocol.

Krishna Kumar, Special Officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee said that even after the effect of the second wave, if people are careless. And if this continues then all the residents of the city may have to bear the brunt of it in the form of the third wave.

He said that the way the cases are increasing in Dhanbad, there are indications that perhaps the third wave has already arrived or is in the process of arriving.

In such a situation, if carelessness continues on the part of the public, third wave can be more destructive than the second wave, he said.

He added that this can have a huge impact, especially on young children.

He said that the district administration is taking strict action, but people themselves will have to be aware so that the magnitude of the third wave can be controlled.

The JNAC team also took action against those who had parked their vehicles wrongly.

The team also had to face some opposition from sections of the public and businesspersons.
