34th Annual Flower Show Blooms at Gopal Maidan Jamshedpur

Rose Convention and Flower Show Draw Enthusiasts from Across India

JAMSHEDPUR – The 34th Annual Flower Show and 41st All-India Rose Convention have transformed Gopal Maidan into a vibrant floral paradise.

The four-day extravaganza at Gopal Maidan showcases diverse horticultural talents. Over 500 participants have joined the sit-and-draw competition.

Moreover, the technical workshop attracted 120 eager learners. The session explored innovative soilless rose cultivation methods.

Championship Victories

Vig English School’s chrysanthemums earned institutional excellence. Meanwhile, Manju Bhamra dominated the amateur category.

Additionally, Tata Steel Noamundi’s OMQ Division created the best institutional display. Raja led the amateur exhibition section.

Furthermore, Nitai Chanda Das won the Floribunda “Prince” title. The “Most Fragrant Rose” award went to Srinika Maity.

Growing Competition

The event features eight distinct categories. These include specialized sections for bonsai and medicinal plants.

In addition, the exhibition showcases rare rose varieties. The competition has attracted participants from various regions.

Meanwhile, sustainable gardening practices received special focus. The society has maintained this tradition for over three decades.
