Neeraj Singh’s Wife Questions Police Action After Raid

JAMSHEDPUR – Police carried out a major raid at the residence of a bar operator wanted in a murder case.

Police raided the Bistupur home of bar operator Neeraj Singh on Wednesday. The raid is linked to the ongoing Himanshu Singh murder case probe.

A large police contingent was deployed during the operation. Officers searched the house and premises thoroughly.

However, Neeraj Singh was not found at the residence. Police said he is absconding and his search has intensified.

Meanwhile, two luxury vehicles were seized from the premises. They include a Land Rover Defender and a Kia car.

Besides, both vehicles were taken to Bistupur police station. Their documents and other details are being examined.

Moreover, officials said all possible evidence is being collected. Every aspect of the case is being probed seriously.

However, further legal action will follow once the probe concludes, police said. Continuous raids are being conducted to trace Neeraj Singh.

In addition, his Double Down Bar was sealed after the case. Karni Sena leader Himanshu Singh had died at TMH following a stabbing there.

Police earlier suspended four policemen in connection with the case. Eleven people, including a BJP leader, were booked in the brawl.

Prohibitory orders under Section 163 remain in force nearby.

On the other hand, Sandhya Singh questioned the police action. Meanwhile, she alleged that the entire family was being harassed unnecessarily.

“My husband is not a criminal,” she said. She added that he has always served society and the public.

Moreover, she said the action made him appear like a major criminal. Sandhya Singh appealed to the public to support her family.

She urged people to help ensure a fair investigation. The Murder case in Jamshedpur continues to draw public attention.
