District Marks 16th National Voters Day Celebration

Deputy Commissioner Honors Election Workers at Rabindra Bhawan Event

JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration organized a National Voters Day program at Rabindra Bhawan, honoring election workers and administering voting pledges.

Deputy Commissioner Karna Satyarthi led the 16th observance ceremony. Senior Police Superintendent attended the district-level function on Saturday. Moreover, several officials participated in the democratic celebration.

Block Level Officers joined the morning program at the auditorium. First-time voters also gathered for the awareness initiative. In addition, administrative staff witnessed the recognition ceremony.

Jamshedpur administration recognized personnel strengthening democratic processes across constituencies. DC Satyarthi distributed certificates to outstanding election workers. Furthermore, he praised their exemplary service during past polls.

Officials honored employees who performed excellently in previous elections. The recognition covered multiple categories of electoral contributions. Meanwhile, voter awareness programs continue across educational institutions.

Administrators, employees and voters took a collective pledge together. The oath emphasized fair and responsible voting practices. On the other hand, officials committed to impartial duty discharge.

Deputy Commissioner addressed the gathering about upcoming electoral responsibilities. He stressed understanding individual duties during future elections. Besides, Satyarthi emphasized honest conduct throughout the polling process.

The DC highlighted the importance of maintaining complete impartiality. Every official must discharge responsibilities with full integrity. However, educational institutions also administered similar pledges to students.

District commissioners across the state received recognition previously. Moreover, presidential honors acknowledged exemplary election management last year.

The program concluded with renewed commitment toward democratic values. Political organizations separately conducted voter mobilization drives earlier. In addition, administrative measures have enhanced polling participation rates significantly.

National Voters Day commemorates the Election Commission’s foundation anniversary. The observance began in 2011 to encourage youth participation. Furthermore, postal ballot facilities ensure voting access for duty-bound citizens.
