Hindu Groups, Transgenders Join Protest Against Bangladesh Atrocities

JAMSHEDPUR – Hindu organizations, women’s groups, and the transgender community organized a torchlight march in Sonari to protest atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and demand identification and deportation of Bangladeshi nationals from Jharkhand.

The protest march started from Kaglnagar Market. It concluded at Sonari Airport. BJP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Ex-Servicemen Council led the demonstration.

Women’s organizations participated in large numbers. Moreover, members of the transgender community also joined the protest. This marked a significant show of solidarity.

The protesters carried burning torches throughout the route. They raised slogans against religious persecution in Bangladesh. In addition, they demanded immediate action from authorities.

The organizations demanded identification of Bangladeshi workers. These workers are currently residing in Jharkhand. Furthermore, protesters called for their deportation to Bangladesh.

Hindu groups have been organizing multiple protests across Jamshedpur. The demonstrations focus on atrocities against Hindus. These incidents have continued for two years.

The Ex-Servicemen Council expressed serious concerns. They highlighted systematic violence against the Hindu minority. However, international response remains limited.

Women activists played a prominent role. They formed a significant portion of the procession. Their participation emphasized cross-section support for the cause.

The protest witnessed participation from various Hindu organizations. All groups united under a common demand. They sought immediate government intervention.

Local residents gathered along the route. Many expressed support for the protesters’ demands. The demonstration remained peaceful throughout its duration.

Similar protests have occurred in other parts of Jamshedpur. These demonstrations reflect growing public anger. Citizens demand concrete action from authorities.
