The baby elephant now resides at Makulakocha checkpoint’s deer park. Veterinary specialists from Gujarat’s Vantara are providing medical treatment. Additionally, the calf’s legs remain bound for safety during recovery.

Dinesh Chandra, an official from Dalma West Forest Range, oversees the treatment. The veterinary team monitors the elephant’s health continuously. However, officials report the calf remains in stable condition.
