MP Sports Festival 2025 Hosts Archery and Boxing Events

Bidyut Baran Mahato Distributes Prizes to Winners at JRD Sports Complex

JAMSHEDPUR – MP Sports Festival 2025 organized archery and boxing competitions Saturday across Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency with large athlete participation.

JRD Sports Complex hosted the archery event. Numerous players competed in Indian round categories. However, selected archers from various clubs participated.

Dronacharya awardee Purnima Mahato led the entire competition. The Padma Shri recipient supervised proceedings throughout. Moreover, Traffic Superintendent Neeraj inaugurated the tournament.

MP Bidyut Baran Mahato attended the closing ceremony. He distributed prizes to winning athletes. Besides, the parliamentarian addressed participants and encouraged them.

Nirmala Mahato secured gold in women’s division. Kajal Mahato claimed silver medal position. On the other hand, Alomani Mahato won bronze.

Sagen Soren dominated men’s competition for gold. Sagun Soren finished second with silver medal. In addition, Akash Mahato earned bronze recognition.

All winners received trophies with certificates. Prize money accompanied the awards distributed. Furthermore, Kulwant Singh Bunty delivered vote of thanks.

Deepu Singh attended the event actively. Kulwant Singh Bunty coordinated competition activities. Meanwhile, MP representative Sanjeev Kumar remained present.

BJP leader Nagendra Pandey participated in ceremonies. Manoj Kumar Singh joined other dignitaries. However, Abhay Kumar Chaubey and Prabhakar supported operations.

Numerous sports management personnel assisted throughout. The event demonstrated growing sports enthusiasm among local athletes. Recognition programs encourage talent development in region.

Boxing competitions occurred simultaneously at separate venue. The festival promotes grassroots sports participation. In contrast, traditional sports receive renewed attention.

Athletes showcased skills before experienced judges. Competition standards remained high throughout event. Moreover, fair play principles guided all proceedings.
