JAMSHEDPUR – A comprehensive mock drill was organized Friday at Parsudih‘s Karandih Jahrasthan ahead of President Droupadi Murmu’s December 29 visit.

The rehearsal aimed to ensure secure passage arrangements. Officials tested routes to worship area, Pandit Raghunath Murmu’s statue, green room and stage. A female Jahrasthan committee member represented the president during the drill.

Committee members performed traditional welcome at the main gate. Mandar and dhamsa drums accompanied the ceremonial reception. The representative then proceeded to the worship area.

She performed prayers following proper rituals. Subsequently, she garlanded Pandit Raghunath Murmu’s statue. The gesture symbolized respect and reverence for the script’s creator.

Officials escorted the representative to the green room. A 10-minute rest period was tested there. The protocol ensures proper presidential comfort during the event.

The final stage movement procedure was examined carefully. Kasturba Gandhi Girls School students from Patmada rehearsed there. They performed the national anthem upon stage arrival.

The mock drill verified complete security arrangements. Committee members coordinated with administration officials throughout. Moreover, traditional elements were integrated with modern security protocols.

All timing sequences were tested during rehearsal. Entry points and exit routes received special attention. Furthermore, the green room facilities were inspected thoroughly.

The Jahrasthan committee prepared for the historic occasion. December 29 marks Ol Chiki script’s centenary celebration. President Murmu will honor this cultural milestone personally.
