Police Bust Illegal Liquor Factory in Seraikela’s Lopso Forest

Armed Forces Raid Mini Distillery, Suspects Escape into Dense Jungle

Key Points:

  • Mini liquor factory discovered in Kuchai police station area
  • Eight drums containing 200 liters spirit seized by police
  • Two to three suspects flee into forest during raid

SERAIKELA – Police busted an illegal liquor factory in Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Friday. The operation occurred in Lopso village forest under Kuchai jurisdiction.

Superintendent of Police received confidential information about the operation. SDPO Sameer Kumar Savaiya led the raid team immediately. Moreover, the tip suggested fake English liquor manufacturing in forest.

“We received intelligence about illegal liquor production,” Savaiya stated Saturday. Police verified information before organizing the raid operation. However, suspects received advance warning about approaching officers somehow.

The team reached the specified location in Lopso forest. Two to three people were present at manufacturing site. Furthermore, they spotted police and attempted escape through jungle.

Armed personnel tried capturing fleeing suspects during the operation. Dense forest and thick bushes aided their escape successfully. On the other hand, police launched comprehensive search of area.

Officers recovered substantial quantities of illicit materials at site. Plastic bottles and jars contained red liquid substance. In addition, eight blue drums held 200 liters spirit.

The drums demonstrated organized illegal liquor manufacturing operation in forest. Equipment suggested sustained production over extended period regularly. Moreover, recovered materials indicated sophisticated production setup completely.

Police cordoned off entire area for thorough investigation purposes. All materials were seized following proper legal procedures carefully. Furthermore, cases were registered under relevant sections of law.

Authorities launched manhunt for absconding accused persons immediately afterward. Investigation focuses on operation’s duration and involved parties. However, police continue gathering intelligence about supply chain networks.

“We won’t allow illegal liquor trade in this region,” SDPO emphasized. Crackdown operations will continue against such illegal activities persistently. In addition, authorities remain vigilant about spurious liquor manufacturing attempts.

The forest location provided cover for clandestine manufacturing operations. Remote areas enable such illegal activities away from surveillance. Moreover, dense vegetation offers escape routes during police raids.

Illegal liquor factories pose serious health risks to consumers. Spurious alcohol causes severe medical complications and deaths frequently. Furthermore, unregulated production uses harmful chemicals and substances regularly.

Police investigate supply chain connections beyond immediate manufacturing site. The operation likely served wider distribution network across region. However, authorities work to identify all involved participants systematically.

Law enforcement maintains pressure on illegal liquor trade continuously. Regular raids disrupt manufacturing and distribution networks effectively across district. In addition, public cooperation helps identify suspicious activities promptly.

The Kuchai police station area witnessed increased vigilance recently. Officers patrol vulnerable locations susceptible to illegal activities regularly. Moreover, intelligence gathering helps preempt such operations before expansion.

Seraikela-Kharsawan district faces challenges from illegal liquor manufacturing operations periodically. Remote forest areas attract such clandestine business ventures consistently. Furthermore, enforcement agencies adapt strategies to counter evolving tactics.
