JAMSHEDPUR – A tempo driver ended his life in Gwala Basti area of Bhuiyadih on Thursday.

Bablu Yadav, resident of Sidhgora police station area, was found hanging. His children discovered him when they returned home around noon. However, he was already dead by that time.

The deceased’s elder brother confirmed the family dispute triggered the tragedy. Bablu had returned home late on Wednesday night. Moreover, he got into a violent argument with family members.

His father became angry after the altercation escalated. He expelled Bablu’s wife and three children from the house. Meanwhile, the father and elder brother lived in an adjacent house.

The wife and children moved to the neighboring residence. They spent the night there following the domestic quarrel. On the other hand, Bablu remained alone in his house.

The children returned to their home around 12 noon Thursday. They found their father hanging from a noose. Furthermore, they immediately informed police about the incident.

Police reached the spot after receiving information. Officers brought the body down and rushed it to MGM Hospital. However, doctors declared Bablu dead on arrival at the facility.

The body was sent for post-mortem examination subsequently. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the suicide. Besides, statements from family members are being recorded.

Sidhgora police have registered a case of unnatural death. The exact sequence of events is being pieced together. Meanwhile, the family is in deep shock over the tragedy.
