JAMSHEDPUR – Police have arrested Abhimanyu Singh in Kanpur. He is accused of plotting hotelier Nikhar Sablok’s killing.
Police brought Singh, also called Sintu Singh, to Jamshedpur. Senior officers were questioning him about the case.

His earlier criminal associations are also under investigation.
Earlier Association With Guddu Pandey Gang
Singh had reportedly been associated with Guddu Pandey’s gang.
Later, a dispute reportedly developed over Ganesh Singh.
The dispute allegedly escalated into armed retaliation.
Singh reportedly fired several rounds at Pandey’s residence.
After that incident, police reportedly kept Singh under surveillance.
His previous associations are now being examined again.
Police Suspect Week-Long Recce Before Killing

For the recce, Singh reportedly purchased a red car.

He was admitted to TMH on Saturday.
His health reportedly deteriorated at Chandil police station.
He was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sablok Was Shot Outside Hotel on August 24
Sablok was killed around 3 p.m. on August 24.
He had travelled from home to the Tenth Mile Stone hotel.
The hotel falls within the Chandil police station area.
Sablok reportedly went there for a land-related discussion.
He was expected to meet Sukhlaal Paharia from Chandil.
Manman Singh and Gurucharan Singh were also reportedly involved.
The concerned land was reportedly located near the hotel.
Construction work was reportedly planned on that property.
Meanwhile, attackers had allegedly reached the hotel beforehand.
They reportedly waited there for Sablok to arrive.
After speaking with friends, Sablok left the hotel.
The attackers then allegedly opened sustained fire on him.
He reportedly suffered around 11 bullet injuries.
Sablok died at the spot from those injuries.
His earlier postmortem findings had also drawn police attention.
