JAMSHEDPUR – East Singhbhum District Collector has issued flood warning for residents near major rivers as continuous rainfall threatens to raise water levels significantly.

The District Collector of East Singhbhum has issued an urgent advisory. Citizens residing along riverbanks must remain vigilant immediately. Heavy rainfall continues to lash the region persistently.

Water levels in Subarnarekha River may increase dangerously. Meanwhile, Kharkai River also faces similar threats. However, administration has taken proactive measures for safety.

Residents should move to higher ground locations immediately. On the other hand, they must follow all administrative guidelines strictly. Moreover, emergency protocols have been activated across the district.

The DC emphasized immediate relocation to safer areas. In addition, citizens should avoid venturing near water bodies. Besides, local authorities are monitoring the situation continuously.
