Dense Cloud Cover Pushes Night Temperatures to Season High, Ranchi Records 15.4°C

Key Points:

  • Minimum temperatures rise unusually across Jharkhand due to Cyclone Fengal

  • Jamshedpur records season-high night temperature at 18.8 degrees Celsius

  • Weather experts predict return to winter conditions within 48 hours

RANCHI – Cyclone Fengal’s influence has triggered an unexpected surge in minimum temperatures throughout Jharkhand, with dense cloud formation disrupting typical winter patterns.

The cyclone’s peripheral effects have created significant weather changes. Jamshedpur experienced an exceptional night temperature of 18.8 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, the state capital Ranchi recorded 15.4 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Daltonganj reported 13.3 degrees Celsius.

Impact on Other Districts

The temperature rise affected multiple regions across Jharkhand. Furthermore, Bokaro registered 14.2 degrees Celsius.

In addition, Chaibasa noted 14.4 degrees Celsius. "The cloud layer prevents normal heat escape from Earth’s surface," explained a meteorologist.

Historical Context and Future Outlook

This marks an unusual weather event for Jharkhand. The state typically experiences colder nights during winter.

However, IMD predicts normalcy will return soon. "Winter conditions should resume within two days," stated a weather expert.

Besides, the administration has issued health advisories. The fluctuating temperatures could affect agricultural activities.

Long-term Implications

The event highlights climate pattern interconnections. On the other hand, experts monitor the cyclone’s ongoing effects.

Furthermore, farmers watch weather developments closely. The unusual warmth might impact winter crops.
