JAMSHEDPUR – JDU’s newly-elected MLA from Jamshedpur West, Saryu Roy, was warmly honored on Wednesday in Mango. At a special ceremony near the Trimakeshwar Mahadev Temple, supporters celebrated his victory by weighing him with laddoos.
During the event, Saryu Roy performed a traditional puja at the temple and expressed gratitude to the people of Jamshedpur West. “I am deeply thankful to everyone who trusted me and gave me the opportunity to serve. My priority will be to complete the unfinished development projects that have been pending for years,” he said.
The celebration saw significant contributions from supporters, including Mastan Singh, Pappu Singh, Neeraj Singh, Rajesh Srivastava, Monu Pandey, Vijendra Singh, Bhavani Singh, Usha Yadav, Mrityunjay Singh, Shyam Singh, and Chhotan Mishra.
In the recent elections, Saryu Roy defeated Congress candidate Banna Gupta by a margin of 7,863 votes. Roy secured 1,03,631 votes, while Gupta garnered 95,768 votes.
