JAMSHEDPUR – NDA candidate and AJSU Party leader Ramchandra Sahis launched an intensive campaign in Jugsalai on Sunday, with his family joining him in efforts to connect with voters across the region.

Starting his day early at his Dimna residence, Sahis met residents to discuss local issues, later visiting multiple areas, including Patamda, Chandrikol, and Mukurudi, for public interactions.

Sahis, a former minister, emphasized his commitment to local development, citing projects he introduced that were stalled by the current administration.

He noted that issues like agricultural irrigation and road connectivity to reduce travel from Bodam to the city were ignored by the present government.

Community Engagement Across Patamda and Jugsalai

After beginning his day with local residents, Sahis visited Haren Mahto’s home in Patamda, followed by stops in Jalla, Nawaadih, and other villages where he listened to public concerns.

In the evening, he paid respects at the Jugsalai Gurudwara and spoke to members of the Sikh community, appealing for their support.

At a later event at Rajsthani Seva Sansthan, he reiterated his promise to prioritize local needs if elected, gathering substantial support from attendees.

Criticism of Current Government and Development Plans

Addressing the media, Sahis voiced criticism of the current government, stating that “the present administration has only focused on self-gain, leaving development projects for Patamda and Bodam incomplete.”

He shared his vision to improve agricultural facilities, complete a long-awaited degree college in Bodam, and provide road infrastructure that would benefit the region’s trade and connectivity.

Sahis concluded with an appeal to voters to grant him another term, saying, “The people deserve a leader who can realize their dreams, and I am committed to making that happen with your support.”
