Tata Main Hospital Hosts 62nd Half Yearly Clinical Conference

Medical experts gather to discuss latest advancements in healthcare

JAMSHEDPUR – The 62nd Half Yearly Conference of Tata Main Hospital Clinical Society convened at JRD Tata Auditorium Jamadoba from September 27-29, 2024.

The event brought together 95 doctors from various Tata Steel locations and guest hospitals.

Moreover, medical experts from Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon, and other prestigious institutions participated.

Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, graced the event as Chief Guest.

Meanwhile, D B Sundara Ramam, Vice President, Raw Materials, Tata Steel, attended as Guest of Honour.

The conference aimed to share knowledge and latest techniques in medical science.

This year’s theme, "Basics and Beyond, Bridging the gaps," focused on connecting various aspects of healthcare.

Dr. Sudhir Rai, General Manager, Medical Services, delivered the keynote address.

Furthermore, Dr. Shandip K Sinha from Medanta Hospital discussed pediatric urological interventions.

Dr. Soumik Goswami from NRS Medical College Kolkata presented on obesity and diabetes management.

Additionally, the event featured MBBS papers, DNB posters, and specialist presentations.

A symposium covered controversies, rare clinical cases, and emerging treatment protocols.

Dr. Gaurav Agarwal from HCG Cancer Centre, Kolkata, spoke on robot-assisted uro-oncological surgeries.

The conference also included presentations from Tata Main Hospital doctors on various medical issues.

On the other hand, the event helped bridge gaps between Tata Main Hospital and other Tata Steel locations.

Participants found the conference extremely beneficial for understanding and addressing healthcare challenges.
