KANDRA – Authorities investigate the suspicious death of a young man found hanging from a tree in Junglibad forest, Dumra panchayat.

On Tuesday morning, villagers made a grim discovery in the Junglibad forest of Dumra panchayat.

The body of Samir Mandal, who had been missing since Sunday, was found hanging from a palash tree.

Locals immediately alerted the police and the victim’s family about the incident.

Law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the body.

The deceased was identified as the son of Shatranjan Mandal, a resident of Dumra.

Meanwhile, the family has alleged foul play, suspecting murder rather than suicide.

Relatives revealed that Samir had been involved in a dispute with some local youths recently.

Moreover, they pointed out that the body was found hanging only about 4 feet above the ground.

This unusual position has raised suspicions about the circumstances of Samir’s death.

On the other hand, the police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter.

Tensions have risen in Dumra village as residents await answers about the young man’s fate.
