Over 575 students pedal through Jamshedpur in ‘Pedal with Purpose’ event

JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School and its Alumni Association staged their annual Cyclothon, dubbed "Pedal with Purpose," to honor healthcare professionals and raise awareness about their crucial role.
The event, uniting alumni, school authorities, and cycling enthusiasts, was flagged off by Dr. Sudhir Rai, G.M. of Tata Main Hospital.
Moreover, distinguished guests including Dr. G.C. Manjhi and Dr. Sahir Pall graced the occasion.
In addition, Fr. K.M. Joseph, Rector of Loyola School, and Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal and LAA President, were present.
Furthermore, Vice Principals Jayanthi Sheshadri and Vineeta Ekka lent their support to the event.
Meanwhile, Rajiv Talwar, JAAI National Vice President, joined the celebration.
Additionally, Savak Patel, Secretary of LAA, and Iqbal Alam, Treasurer of LAA, contributed to the event’s success.
The 6-kilometer ride traversed parts of Circuit House Area, Link Road, Dhatkidih, Kadma, and Bistupur.
Notably, strict public health protocols were followed to ensure participants’ safety.
Fr. Vinod Fernandes emphasized the cyclothon’s significance as a tribute to doctors’ dedication.
On the other hand, the event symbolized endurance and strength, mirroring healthcare workers’ commitment.
Besides honoring doctors, the cyclothon fostered community spirit and promoted healthy activities.
