Inaugural Golf Tournament in Jamshedpur Sees Over 100 Participants

Over 100 golfers, including standout performers Vibhuti and Nikhil Adesara, gathered at Golmuri Golf Course for the CII Jharkhand Golf Cup, marking a successful event with networking and camaraderie.

JAMSHEDPUR – The CII Jharkhand Golf Cup 2024 concluded with a flourish at the Golmuri Golf Course, showcasing remarkable golfing prowess and fostering strong community ties among participants.

Rajeev Arun Ekka, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Panchayati Raj, Government of Jharkhand, and Ujjal Chakraborti, Chairman of the CII Jharkhand State Council, honored the winners in a vibrant prize distribution ceremony.

Sujata Sachdev and Jeetu Garg made impressive strides in the tournament, securing their positions as runners-up in the ladies’ and gentlemen’s categories, respectively.

Ranjot Singh, Vice Chairman of the CII Jharkhand State Council, added to the list of achievers by winning the Best Net title in the gentlemen’s category.

Nikhil Adesara’s golfing skills were on full display as he clinched the Best Gross title in the gentlemen’s category with a notable performance.

Vibhuti Adesara’s dual victory in the ladies’ category, winning both the Winner’s Trophy and the Best Gross – Ladies title, was a highlight of the event.

This inaugural golf tournament, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Young Indians Jamshedpur Chapter, drew an enthusiastic response with over 100 golfers participating.

The event, held on Saturday, became a focal point for golf enthusiasts across the region, emphasizing the sport’s growing popularity and community spirit.
