Inter-School Football Tournament Kicks Off in Jamshedpur

Eleven schools compete in two-day event at Loyola School Telco

The 2024 Inter-School Football Tournament begins, showcasing young talent from eleven Jamshedpur schools in a spirited competition.

JAMSHEDPUR – Today, the Inter-School Football Tournament 2024 was inaugurated at Loyola School Telco, thus uniting eleven urban schools in a competition that can only be described as exhilarating.

In his capacity as Chief Guest, Dr. Ajoy Kumar kicked off the event in style.

He initiated the game by kicking the first ball in a ceremonial manner.

Dr. Kumar also underscored the tournament’s contribution to the development of sportsmanship and lauded it profusely.

He also emphasized its significance as a platform for youthful athletes of the city.

A symbolic balloon release was also made a part of the ceremony and it really captivated the audience present at the site.

The tournament’s commencement was officially signified by this action.

In the inaugural match, Loyola School Bistupur encountered Loyola School Telco.

Both teams demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm and vitality.

The event was witnessed by Father KM Joseph, the Rector of Loyola School.

Charanjeet Ohson, the Principal of Loyola School Telco, was also in attendance.

The athletes received the backing of Fr. Vinod Fernandes, the Principal of Loyola School Bistupur.

An enthusiastic audience witnessed the parade of the participating teams.

The tone for the forthcoming matches was established by this display.

Competitive play will be conducted over the course of two days during the tournament.

The event will conclude with the crowning of the champions.

A school official observed, "This event honors the talent and collaboration of young people."
