CBI Detains Hazaribagh School Principal in NEET Paper Leak Case

Courier Company Employees Also Under Scrutiny as Investigation Intensifies

The Central Bureau of Investigation takes action in the ongoing NEET question paper leak scandal, focusing on local educational institutions.

RANCHI – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has detained Dr. Ehsanul Haq, principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, in connection with the NEET paper leak case.

The CBI considered the principal’s role suspicious in the leak of the NEET question paper.

Employees of Blue Dart Courier Company are also under suspicion, with many reportedly absconding since the leak was disclosed.

Dr. Haq, who serves as the district coordinator for NEET-UG, was interrogated for several hours before being taken to Charhi in Hazaribag for further questioning.

An unnamed source revealed, "A 12-member CBI team arrived in Hazaribag on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, eight of them visited the school, while others inspected the State Bank of India’s main branch in Hazaribag."

The source added, "The bank’s manager was reportedly in charge of the question papers."

Prior to his detention, Dr. Haq had denied the school’s involvement in the paper leak, stating, "The tampering was done outside."

The CBI’s actions highlight the seriousness of the investigation into the breach of the high-stakes medical entrance exam.

This development has raised concerns about the security measures in place for conducting national-level examinations.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to uncover the full extent of the leak and those involved.
