Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal Emphasizes Timely Implementation of Public Welfare Schemes

Review Meeting Highlights Achievements, Identifies Areas for Improvement

On Saturday, Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal led a review meeting to discuss the progress of public welfare schemes in various sectors. She emphasized the importance of following the guidelines set by the State Government and completing projects on time.

JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal held a thorough review meeting on Saturday to assess the progress of public welfare schemes in different sectors.

These sectors include Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, ITDA, Social Welfare, Agriculture, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Mining, Health, Education, Labour Planning and Skill Development, Urban Development, Roads, Tourism, and Art Culture and Sports.

The meeting discussed the progress made compared to previous goals and identified areas that need improvement. Directives were given to address these issues promptly.

Mittal stressed the significance of adhering to the guidelines set by the State Government and ensuring that the expected progress in development and public welfare projects is maintained.

He asked the officers to go out into the field and gather accurate information so they can make strategic plans based on that.

The timeline for each scheme is set in stone. "If there are any delays, please report the details and reasons for the delay to the Deputy Commissioner’s office," he said, emphasizing the importance of verifying the on-ground implementation and quality of work.

We focused specifically on making sure that schemes related to drinking water, housing, health, and education were executed effectively.

Mittal emphasized the need for improved coordination among different departments in order to ensure smoother implementation.

He told the officers at the district level, Block Development Officers (BDOs), and Circle Officers (COs) to regularly monitor and address any issues that come up, making sure that the projects are completed on time.

The specific directives focused on tackling the issue of illegal mining of minerals and the distribution of community forest leases.

Mittal emphasized the significance of smooth coordination between departments to ensure the successful implementation of these schemes.

"It’s important to regularly monitor the progress so that any issues can be addressed promptly and the projects can be completed on time," he said.

The meeting was attended by several officials including Civil Surgeon Dr. Jujhar Majhi, ADM Law and Order Anant Kumar, ADM (SOR) Mahendra Kumar, Executive Magistrate David Balihar, District Panchayat Raj Officer Rinku Kumari, SDO Ghatshila, SDO Dhalbhum, District Education Officer, District Education Superintendent, and Executive Engineers from all technical departments.

Mittal’s directives highlight the administration’s strong dedication to promoting development and improving the quality of life for residents by efficiently and effectively implementing public welfare schemes.

The focus on completing tasks on time, ensuring high quality, conducting strategic visits to the field, and coordinating between different departments shows a comprehensive approach to promoting sustainable development.

The review meeting was an important milestone in making sure that the advantages of different programs are delivered to the intended recipients quickly and efficiently.
