Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat Marks Golden Jubilee with Focus on Nature Conservation

Padma Shri Chhutni Mahato presided over an Environment Day seminar organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat in Bholadih village, Saraikela, celebrating the golden jubilee of the organization’s Jharkhand unit.

JAMSHEDPUR – In Bholadih village, Saraikela, Padma Shri Chhutni Mahato presided over a seminar on Environment Day, organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat to mark the golden jubilee of its Jharkhand unit.

The seminar, themed ‘Protection and Conservation of Nature: Man’s Greatest Religion,’ was attended by approximately 32 rural women.

Vice President Angel Upadhyay emphasized the importance of instilling the value of nature worship among the youth.

Dr. Anita Sharma highlighted the necessity of safeguarding the environment for a secure future.

Teacher Kumar Amalendu pointed out the crucial role of rural culture in ensuring environmental safety.

Various dignitaries shared their insights during the event.

Dr. Anita Sharma conducted the seminar and introduced the topic, while Dr. Kalyani Kabir delivered the vote of thanks.

Those present included Pratima Tantubai, Priya Mahato, Chandmuni, Gurubari Mahato, Sushmita Mahato, Preeti Tantubai, Pobita, Joba, Sanjita Mahato, Purnomi, and Lakshmi, among others.

Vice President Angel Upadhyay presented a shawl to chairperson Chhutni Mahato, acknowledging her leadership in organizing the event.

The seminar underscored the significance of nature conservation and the role of community leaders in promoting environmental awareness.

"This event highlights the need for collective efforts in protecting our environment and preserving it for future generations," said Dr. Anita Sharma.

The gathering concluded with a renewed commitment to environmental protection and community engagement in conservation efforts.
