JAMSHEDPUR – The postal voter turnout for the Lok Sabha elections in Jamshedpur has seen a significant participation rate, with 71.98% of eligible voters casting their ballots through the mail-in system.

A total of 2207 voters, including poll workers, police officers, home guards, district officials, and essential employees, have utilized this method to cast their votes.

To ensure inclusivity, home voting options were made available for the elderly and disabled, making it convenient for those unable to visit polling places.

This initiative allowed 12 individuals to vote effectively from their homes.

The high turnout underscores the effectiveness of the postal ballot system and the commitment of the electoral commission to facilitate voting for all eligible citizens.
