Comprehensive strategies devised to ensure fair and secure Lok Sabha elections in Seraikela-Kharsawan.

SERAIKELA – In a crucial move to bolster election security, Kolhan DIG Manoj Ratan recently presided over a detailed review meeting with police officials in Seraikela, laying the groundwork for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

DIG Ratan, accompanied by SP Manish Toppo, SDPOs of Chandil and Seraikela, and officers from all police stations, highlighted the necessity of rigorous planning and strict adherence to election guidelines during the session.

Upon his arrival in Seraikela, the DIG was accorded a guard of honor, setting a formal tone for the proceedings that followed.

The meeting focused on various aspects of election readiness, with DIG Ratan issuing critical instructions aimed at ensuring a smooth electoral process.

He announced that the voting in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, which involves three Lok Sabha seats, will be conducted in two phases, paying special attention to the challenges posed by Naxal-affected areas and the adjacency to border states.

Strategies for securing sensitive and highly sensitive polling booths were discussed, with plans for the deployment of adequate police forces to maintain peace and order.

With the district police’s firm dedication to conducting fair elections, efforts are in full swing to finalize preparations and guarantee that the electoral process is conducted without any disturbances, ensuring the integrity of the democratic process.
