JAMSHEDPUR – The emphasis on innovation and community empowerment marked this year’s Founder’s Day celebration in Jamshedpur, as Tata Power paid tribute to Jamsetji Tata’s enduring legacy.
The theme for the event was ‘Technology for People and Planet’.
It underscored the company’s dedication towards harnessing technology for societal and environmental benefits.
Rakeshwar Pandey, President of Tata Power Employee Union, was among the key figures participating in the ceremony.
Basudev Hansdah, Chief O&M at Jojobera, also took part in the event.
Jagmit Singh Sidhu, holding dual roles as CEO of IEL and Chief of Jamshedpur Operations, was present.
Vijayant Ranjan, CEO of MPL, led the Tata Power team.
The team was part of a gathering that included 50 participants from diverse Tata Power locations such as Jojobera, KPO, Haldia, and MPL.
A garlanding ceremony featured prominently in the celebration, showcasing a collective commitment to the visionary ideals of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.
