Jamshedpur West Rotary Club Honors 119 Years of Service

The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West celebrates World Rotary Day, highlighting its ongoing commitment to social and community upliftment.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West concluded its World Rotary Day celebration, underscoring 119 years of Rotary International’s global service.

This year’s event was marked by the inauguration of a renovated city bus stand toilet in Mango Sakchi.

Deputy Commissioner Ravi Prakash and Rotarian Shiv led the project’s unveiling.

The initiative reflects Rotary’s enduring mission to enhance public amenities and honor its foundational projects.

Secretary Rotarian Ashok Jha and Director Club Administration Rotarian Sanjeev Sehgal played pivotal roles in the project’s completion.

An annual inspection of Rotary Clubs in Zone-18 showcased multiple inaugurated projects, including a solar tower and a children’s school.

The inspection highlighted a broom manufacturing workshop in Chimti Pahadiya Tola village, emphasizing community development.

The Rotary Diksha Center in Sonari received praise for its livelihood programs and educational initiatives.

World Rotary Day was celebrated at an Adityapur hotel, where President Neeta Agarwal and Secretary Ashok Jha shared the year’s achievements.

The event spotlighted relief efforts for Ghoramara Island, featuring a partnership with Tata undertaking JCPenney Limited.

A storm relief shelter center in the Sundarban area was announced, addressing the challenges of land erosion.

Governor Bagaria and Assistant Governor Anjani Nidhi commended the club for its exceptional contributions and collaborative spirit.

The day’s festivities reflected the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West’s dedication to impactful community service and Rotary’s global mission.
