Jamshedpur’s Bistupur Gopal Maidan to host a vibrant flower show with diverse exhibits and technical sessions, inviting enthusiasts and experts alike.

JAMSHEDPUR -The Bistupur Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur is set to blossom with the annual flower show, scheduled from 23rd to 26th December.

The event will conclude with insightful technical sessions on smart gardening and plant pest and nutritional management on the 25th December, aimed at educating students and enthusiasts.

December 24th’s technical session will cover innovative techniques in seasonal flower cultivation, vegetables, and kitchen gardening, offering valuable insights for attendees.

Esteemed guests like PCCF Sanjay Srivastava and Shashikar Samant, Executive Director of the Wildlife Development Board, will grace the event.

With an entry fee of just ten rupees, visitors will have access to 12 food stalls, 25 counters, and 14 Pan India stalls, ensuring a full-fledged experience.

The show will feature a sit and draw event with about 780 artists, a sales counter, and various exhibitions, making it a hub of creativity and commerce.

The event will be categorized into amateur and institutional displays, showcasing a wide array of plants including seasonal pool, brahamsia flowers, potted fruits and vegetables, and more.

The Horticulture Society, in collaboration with Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL, promises an impressive display of seasonal flowers, bonsai, and innovative horticulture techniques.

Horticulture Society President Sumita Nupur, along with General Secretaries Anuradha Mohapatra and Sukanya Das, announced this year’s theme as ‘Happy Nature and Home World.’

The Horticulture Society of Jamshedpur is hosting the event, which will feature 33 nurseries and various products ranging from soilless culture to landscaping with potted plants. This event is not just a celebration of flora but also a platform for horticulture enthusiasts to learn, share, and appreciate the beauty and diversity of plant life.
